OUR MISSION IS RESTORING LIVES
The word “homeless” easily creates a chasm of separation between “us” and “them”, dozens of stereotypes support this barrier. Yet, just like every other person, each of the people who come through our door has a face, a name, a unique story, and the issues that they struggle with.
The Samaritan Center’s mission is to assist each individual exactly where they are, in becoming self-supportive and independent again, bridging the gap between street and home through services, support, health and home.

The most important thing we can do for our homeless is show them care and support. By extending love and care we bridge the gap between their desperation and “feeling” whole again.
FEED
Food is an essential part of life. Nourishment gives us the energy and nutrients to develop, be healthy and active, work, think and learn.
EDUCATE
Everything depends on knowledge. Knowledge and understanding empowers us to take control of our lives and create a positive, independent future.
HOUSE
Housing provides the security that each of us depends on to feel safe. When we are safe and our basic needs are met, there is hope for possibilities we hadn’t imagined.
