ABOUT US
THE SAMARITAN CENTER OF SIMI VALLEY
Our Mission
“To end and prevent homelessness by supporting and mentoring the most-needy in becoming accountable, self-sustained and housed again, providing them with services, resources, opportunities and hope.”

About Us
The word “homeless” easily creates a chasm of separation between “us” and “them”, dozens of stereotypes support this barrier. Yet, just like every other person, each of the people who come through our door has a face, a name, a unique story, and issues that they struggle with.
The insecurities of living without a home and the situations that contribute to this can leave people feeling very alone and without hope. The Samaritan Center exists to be a place where individuals and families can receive immediate assistance and support needed in order to take the steps necessary to move out of their homelessness. Our greatest strength is personal contact with each individual, assessing his or her needs and partnering with other social service agencies to meet each client’s unique barriers.
The Samaritan Center has been changing and restoring lives since 1994.
